Hello!This is a vegan/vegetarian food blog.Here you will find veganized versions of traditional dishes and recipes that I developed on my own. I am not a professional chef, (nowhere close) I am just addicted to cooking! All the recipes you see here are vegan[ that means that no animal products or by-products are used].
I love to experiment to make certain foods healthier ( but without ruining flavors and textures so sometimes I will use fat and sugar), and here I post what comes out. If something is not that good I mention it. If something is really good, again I mention it so that you dont waste time trying shitty recipes..
I am 20 years old, from Athens, Greece. I am currently studying photography. All the pictures you see here are taken by me, unless otherwise mentioned. If you would like to use any, please contact me first.
Also if you have any questions about the products I am using, or you are having a hard time finding them, dont hesitate to contact me!
If you are still not bored with this post read more!:Here in Athens not that many people are vegetarian(not to mention vegans).There is only one vegetarian restaurant in Athens but thankfully Greek traditional cuisine has many vegetarian and vegan dishes so basically you can eat out almost everywhere. Yeah… so I am experimenting to make my food cool and original! Thank you for reading my blog,
Nina

Hi webmaster!
Yeah Great Blog,
Keep up the good work, appreciate your work. I cover Nuclear and Indigenous issues: http://gregornot.wordpress.com/
But folks need to know how to stay healthy, in theses storm times.
My favorite food is Quoina (sp?) !5 minutes to prepare, gives all the protein and minerals your body needs. Original raised by the Inca civilization when the were on the run from the Spanish. Best think that it grows best with a minimum of water, high altitudes, and when served with corn, tastes like an ice cream dish. Their are many great vegan recipes for it out there.
If you have not checked it out, you really should. If you get in in bulk from the farmers (like I did in 50 lbs sacks) you need to rinse it well. I used nylon stockings, and soaked it in bowls of water, and squished it and you can save the water. Repeat until water is clear.
As the plant has a natural coating that can substitute for hair shampoo, which is also a natural insecticide (soapy not poison), so insects don’t bother with it :-}
It is truly a super food. Do some research, you will be amazed by it, perfectly balanced food and only 15 minutes from start to finish. I better stop, but it is great as a cranberry muffins, also.
Shundahai (A Newe word that means”Peace and Harmony with All Creation”), gregor
