In Athens if you are vegan/vegetarian/health food geek or you just like variety and foods from all over the world, you have to know where to shop. Big branch supermarket are just filled with the regular Greek products and maybe a suck-ass overly expensive corner of ‘oriental’ food. You know, like, chicken noodles. As a foodie, I explore places to find everything I see on the web and want it. And usually I do. Besides vegan cheeses 
. So here is a list, with all the places I shop. Hope it will be helpful to you.

Salamat is an Asian Supermarket, with a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables imported from Thailand. It also has frozen products, like whole young coconuts, and many Asian cooking staples, and some Japanese.
Soya[Japanese Store]

Soya is an only-Japanese products store. It has everything you might want to use from dried seaweeds to weird Japanese sweets, sauces, pickles, some ready meals, frozen section. [also has Japanese tableware, traditional bento boxes and books.

Prasino Market is one of my two favorite organic/health food store. Carries a very wide variety of organic products,[ex.nutritional yeast] and also has soy yogurt [a product hard to find in Athens]. Many brands of alternative milks and my favorite Provamel soy caramel dessert. The one located on Tatoiou street is the biggest one.
Green Farm[Organic/health food store]
Similar to Prasino Market, with a huge variety of products, sometimes a bit more expensive than Prasino, they also carry Alpro and Provamel soy milks,nutritional yeast, And a really nice brand of tofu products. This shop has 7 branches all over Athens 2 at Patra and 1 at Ioannina, so I am not gonna give all the addresses! You should be familiar with this shop!
Green Farm
Ygeia-Oikologia [Health-Ecologist store]
Located on 57 Panepistimiou street, near Omonoia Square, big store with many food products, books, appliances all dedicated to health and ecology. Huge tofu and veggie meat alternatives section, also carries Soyatoo whipping cream, some raw products, and all the organic staples. Also has a ‘restaurant’ where you can pick up ready-made vegetarian food. Really big store, all 3 departments located on Panepistimiou street.

This is a rather small but cute shop, with a large variety of nut butters[I get my cashew butter from there]They also have a small food bar where you can eat at your lunch break. limited sittings though.
The only thing I have tried is grilled veggies which wasnt that spectacular, but they have a large section of veggie stuffed pies-no clue if they are vegan, I need to ask. They also do delivery.
This place is also really close to the Japanese store so its convenient if you are going to both.
Thanopoulos Supermarket

Thanopoulos is a supermarket with 3 branches, all of them on the north part of Athens. They carry many imported products from the U.S. and U.k. and other countries. The items from the U.S. are very pricey, as well as the Thai fruits[they get them from Salamat, so drag your ass and go get them yourself from there half price] but U.K. products are affordable [good for us]. U.K products include Waitrose [huge English Supermarket] goodies-huge variety of sauces, ready meals, Jamaican Red Stripe beer and much more. They also have a big organic section and a quite good variety in Asian foods. Also they carry many Valsoia ice creams and their frozen pizza[vegan].Oh, and I almost forgot. Its the only place in Greece you can find Quorn mycoprotein [vegetarian alternative to meat-not vegan].
